Smartphone Free Childhood Brighton & Hove is a group of parents who have come together to take action across our city.

We want to raise awareness of the risks of early exposure to smartphones, and support and encourage families to delay giving smartphones to children until they are at least 14 years old.

We are a group of passionate volunteers who are collaborating with every part of our community. This includes families, carers, councillors, MPs, health professionals, educators, the police, and all others who are invested in the lives of our children and young people.

We believe in protecting childhood, and promoting play and real life interactions, so that children can thrive and flourish.

Through everyone working together, we are witnessing a genuine cultural shift in our city as we re-evaluate the kind of childhood we want for each and every child.
